Dulie Day!

This past weekend marked the third anniversary of Dulie Day. What is Dulie Day? It’s a celebration of my dear grandmother! Once every year (usually during the summer) all my family on my mom’s side gets together for a family reunion. Dulie Day came about because without my grandmother and my papa (who has passed) we wouldn’t be united as an eternal family! This year was particularly special because EVERYONE was able to make it! All 25 of us!

We stayed at the luxurious Edison Beach House in Ft. Myers, FL. What a view from our room!

It was a short stay, but we made the most of it. On Saturday morning my family and I got up at the crack of dawn (literally) and headed south. Once we arrived at the beach house, our reunion began with warm welcomes from everyone! I love spending time with family and catching up on everyone’s lives. We enjoyed lunch at Red Lobster, the beach, finding shells, watching the sunset, and lots and lots of LAUGHS! Here are some pictures from Dulie Day!

GORGEOUS, right? After a day of soaking up the sun and catching up, we spent the last day taking family pictures. My cousin Kyle took this picture of all the grandchildren with our grandmother. Gotta love jumping pictures. I think we nailed it!

Well, summer is almost over. Sad to see it end, but my favorite season is coming up! FALL! I love everything about fall! Cool weather, scarves, fall foliage, the smell of pumpkin, boots, holidays, the list goes on. I’m also excited to be headed back to school! I fly back in two weeks! Holy Moly! I sure hope I’m ready because I’m going to be BUSY! Although, I can’t fly back until I see Justin. Speaking of which, he comes in one week! Eeeeeeeeeeek! I can’t help but be excited! J

Enjoy the last bits of summer y’all! I know I will. ;)
